Hulu is one of our picks for the best streaming services you can sign up for, especially if you’re a cord-cutter looking to catch up on network shows or find a new original series to watch. The service has a huge library of programs, including popular exclusives like “Shogun” and “The Bear” as well as next-day access to hit series from ABC and Fox, like “The Bachelor” franchise and “Bob’s Burgers.”

Hulu prices start at $8 a month and go up to $90 a month for top-tier plans with live TV. You can access Hulu on all of the best streaming devices and best gaming consoles, including Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox systems.

With four tiers to choose from, figuring out which Hulu plan is right for you can be tricky. To help, we’ve compiled a Hulu price chart detailing exactly what each of Hulu’s four options will get you for your dollar. You can also find a breakdown of Hulu’s add-ons and Disney Plus bundles, which may be a better value for you and your household.

Hulu with Ads (Monthly Plan)

Hulu offers thousands of shows and movies, including popular network titles and exclusive originals. Go for the ad-supported tier, and it’s only $7.99 a month. Going for no-ads is a further $10 a month.

How much is Hulu?

Hulu (With Ads) costs $8 a month or $80 a year. This plan offers ad-supported access to all of the best shows on Hulu, including Hulu originals. Hulu also offers an ad-supported student plan for a discounted price of $2 a month.

If you want commercial-free streaming, you can upgrade to Hulu (No Ads) for $18 a month. This plan also adds download support, enabling the ability to save titles to watch offline.

Both options come with a 30-day free streaming trial, and they each provide full access to Hulu’s entire library of on-demand shows and movies, including Hulu exclusives like “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Only Murders in the Building,” network TV favorites like “Abbott Elementary,” and classic sitcoms like “The Golden Girls.”

Subscribers who want live TV, in addition to Hulu’s on-demand programs, also have a few options. Hulu + Live TV starts at $77 a month and adds over 90 popular channels from cable and broadcast TV, as well as DVR and complimentary access to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus. Unfortunately, Hulu + Live TV does not include a free trial. You can learn more about this plan in our guide detailing how to watch live TV on Hulu

The Disney Bundle is included in a Hulu + Live TV subscription. This added value is one of the reasons we recommend Hulu + Live as the top pick in our guide to the best live TV streaming services.

Hulu + Live TV costs $77 a month with the ad-supported Disney Plus bundle or $90 a month with the ad-free bundle

Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV includes over 90 channels, along with Hulu’s on-demand library and access to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus. Adding live TV drives up the price significantly, but it’s a rolling one-month contract that you’re free to cancel at any time. As live TV services go, though, this is one of the best.

Disney Bundle members can now access Hulu content in the Disney Plus app.

If you are a Disney Plus Bundle subscriber, you can now access all of Hulu’s content directly within the Disney Plus app, so you don’t have to switch between services. Disney Bundle members can simply navigate to the Hulu hub in the Disney Plus app to start streaming Hulu content.

Hulu also remains available as a separate service that you can subscribe to without the Disney Plus Bundle. And Hulu’s separate app remains available for those without the bundle or for bundle members who prefer to use it.
